The Company's key asset is the Reed Lake Project where a high grade Copper discovery was made in 2007. VMS Ventures’ Joint Venture partner HudBay Minerals (HBM:TSX) is presently conducting work and approval was granted by the Manitoba Government for the Reed Copper Advanced Exploration Permit (AEP) in January 2012. This will allow for the extraction of a 10,000 tonne bulk sample by Q2-Q3 2013. At present, VMS’ Geological team is focusing on searching for new discoveries on its 100% owned property portfolio in the Flin Flon – Snow Lake greenstone belt, which is the most prolific Proterozoic VMS belt in the world with over 20 producing and past producing Cu-Zn-Au-Ag deposits.

VMS has acquired prospective properties in Sudbury, Ontario and work commenced on those properties in 2011.
