VMS SIGNS 10,000 METER DRILL CONTRACT WITH RODREN DRILLING LTD.

Vancouver, B.C., May 15, 2008. VMS Ventures Inc. (TSX.V: VMS) (the “Company”) is pleased to announce that it has signed a 10,000 meter drill contract with Rodren Drilling Ltd. to continue exploration and further its understanding of the deposit at the Discovery Zone at Reed Lake.

President, John Roozendaal states: “Rodren is a leading diamond drill company in Manitoba.  Their work over the past six months has been consistent and professional through a challenging winter and we are pleased to secure two of their drills for the next 10,000 meters. Rodren’s experience and competence in testing deep targets was another important factor in our decision to use them at this stage of our deposit development drill program.”

The second Rodren drill is on the Reed Lake property and is about to begin testing the Discovery Zone eastern targets and will follow mineralization to depth.

All technical information in this release has been reviewed by the Qualified Person, Dr. George Gale, P.Eng. Samples are prepared and analyzed at TSL Laboratories in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan using ICP-MS and fire assay analytical methods.
