Vice President of Exploration,
Dr. George Gale states: “Hole RD-08-65, drilled from the same setup location as
drill holes 62 and 64, intersected a large interval of sulphide veinlets on the
western side of the deposit. Drill hole RD-08-66 tested the near surface, up-dip
projection of mineralization intersected previously in holes 12, 58 and 60 on
the eastern side of the deposit.
Dr Gale adds: “Hole RD-08-66
intersected the “A” zone with its characteristic copper and zinc mineralization;
and also what is interpreted to be the very upper edge of the “B” zone
mineralized body further down the hole. Hole RD-08-66 provides evidence for
continuity of both zones of mineralization and demonstrates that the
mineralization comes within 60 metres of surface in that part of the deposit.”
