The Reed Project
includes the Reed Claims that were optioned from W.B. Dunlop Ltd. in 2005, Reed
Claims staked by the Company, the HudBay Minerals Option, MEL, and the Leak
claims that are collectively referred to as the 9 – 7 Zone. Parts of the area
are underlain by volcanic rocks that extend southwards beneath a thin layer of
flat-lying younger limestone and sandstone. The Company has been exploring the
area since 2005 and intersected a VMS deposit during its first drill program in
2007. |

The Cover Project includes the Company’s Farwell and
McClarty claims and MEL. The Proterozoic volcanic rocks that host VMS deposits
in the Snow Lake area continue southwards from the Reed and Wekusko Lake areas
where they are covered by a thin veneer of flat-lying limestone that increases
in thickness gradually southwards. Although several small or low grade VMS
deposits have been found in this vast area, the only producing mine (Spruce
Point) is located at the edge of the limestone cover, immediately to the
northwest of the Company’s Far claims. Recently HudBay Minerals (HBM-TSX)
announced that they would be undertaking a feasibility study on another deposit
that is also situated beneath the limestone cover.

Copperman |
|
The Copper Project was initiated with the staking of
the Cop claims by the Company in 2005. Since that time the Company has added
additional claims, obtained two MEL permits, optioned ML 28 and optioned
the Walt Claims and MEL 243A from W. Hood. The Copperman deposit is situated at
the northeast end of this land package, which extends southwestwards for
approximately km. A large portion of the prospective volcanic rocks extend
beneath the limestone cover, which gradually increases in thickness southwards.
The Sylvia and Koff VMS deposits, owned by HudBay Minerals, occur near the
southern end of the Company’s land package. The Company undertook a VTEM survey
of the northern part of the Project area in winter 2007. A number of new
conductive anomalies were identified and these are now being systematically
investigated to identify priority drill targets. |

Puella Bay
Project, Manitoba Copper / Zinc
|
|
The Puella Bay Project is situated on the east side
of Wekusko Lake approximately 30 km from Snow Lake. The Company staked a number
of claims to cover the extensions of a large felsic volcanic body that hosts Cu
and Zn mineralization on an optioned claim. The property was prospected in the
1930’s when a number of trenches were excavated along a 2 km long zone of
mineralization. Abundant quartz veins with Cu and Zn bearing minerals were
exposed. Studies by Manitoba Government geologists indicated that the area had
the potential to contain VMS type deposits. Mapping by the Company’s geologist
in 2007 identified extensive alteration typical of that associated with VMS type
mineralization. |

Sails
Project, Manitoba Copper / Zinc
|
|
The Sails project is
situated approximately 20 km east of the town of Snow Lake.
The Company optioned the ARSE 1 claim and staked the
surrounding claims in 2005 to cover the favourable
stratigraphy. Although a number of vein type gold
occurrences are located on the property, it was prospected
for base metals in the late 1960’s and in 1988. VMS type
alteration and exhalites, identified during a gold
exploration program in 1996, occur within an extensive VTEM
conductive unit that yielded 7% Zn over a 60 cm interval
during the 1960’s survey. A reconnaissance survey in 2006
established that the geological setting is similar to that
found in the Snow Lake area and confirmed that chemical
sedimentary rocks are present at a break in the volcanism.
The VTEM survey flown in 2007 identified a number of
conductors. |
