The area is part of the Wasekwan Group volcanic and sedimentary rocks that comprise the Lynn Lake greenstone belt. The area of the property is characterized by aphyric mafic volcanic rocks, mudstone and siltstone interlayered with felsic tuff, amphibolite, iron formation and altered felsic volcanic rocks. The alteration mineral assemblages documented on the property are similar to those that characterize the Fox copper-zinc deposit and they include anthophyllite, cordierite, garnet, sericite and chlorite.
