The Proterozoic volcanic rocks that host VMS
deposits in the Snow Lake area continue southwards from the Reed and
Wekusko Lake areas where they are covered by a thin veneer of flat-lying
limestone that increases in thickness gradually southwards.
The Copper Project consists of claims, three
Mel permits and Mineral License 28.
The Copperman deposit is situated at the northeast end of a belt of
prospective rocks that extends southwestwards beyond the Sylvia Zone
owned by HudBay Minerals Ltd. |

Drilling on the Copperman property in 1967 by
Western Nuclear Mines Ltd indicated that the A zone contains 149,672 tonnes
with 3.08% Cu and 3.08% Zn. Combined reserves of 221,308 tonnes with 2.63%Cu and
4.46% Zn were reported in Manitoba Mineral Deposit Series Report 21. Grab
samples from the trenches assayed up to 12% Zn and 2.3% Cu. (Note: these are
historic results and are not considered compliant with todays NI 43-101
reporting requirements)
The reported mineralization is associated with altered volcanic rocks that are
exposed at the northern edge of the limestone cover rocks found in this area of
Manitoba. Felsic volcanic rocks and minor amounts of Cu and Zn are present at a
number of localities within the Project area.
A VTEM survey flown over the northern part of the area in 2007 identified a
large number of conductors. Some of the conductors were drilled previously and
found to contain pyrite and graphite rock units, but others are not known to
have been tested to date.
Compilation and assessment of previous drill results on both the Copperman
deposit and the Copper Project is ongoing.
Value Proposition
Geological Setting: Copper Project. Proterozoic Marine Volcanic Rocks
VMS Target: Multiple 5,000,000 Tonne (plus) Copper-Zinc deposits
World Class Deposits: Flin Flon, Manitoba (Cu, Zn, Au, Ag) 60,000,000 Tonnes
Kidd Creek, Ontario, (Cu, Pb, Zn, Au, Ag) 150,000,000 Tonnes
Value Proposition: 5,000,000 Tonnes grading 2.5% Copper equals 50 lbs/tn at price of
3.50/lb totals US$175.00/tn plus 4.5% Zinc which equals 90 lbs/tn at a price of
$1.50/lb totals US$135/tn for Zinc.
Total contained metal (Gross Metal Value) = $310 X 5,000,000=US$1.55 billion US
(Excluding Gold and Silver credits which can be
significant in these deposits)
Disclaimer: This value will,
obviously, be discounted significantly, as it represents the value of metal
prior
to all the costs associated with mining, but we provide it to give
readers some context;
